LATE 18TH C. DUTCH FALL FRONT SECRETAIRE

Largely in satinwood and with panels of inlaid Chinese lacquer, the rectangular top in mahogany and crossbanded in satinwood, the front with a single drawer imitating three drawers and centered by a lacquer panel, the fall front centered by a lacquer panel of horsemen crossing a bridge, in colors on black ground and framed in satinwood and rosewood, the lower part with two cupboard doors of similar design with floral lacquer panels, with canted corners and satinwood sides, raised on short tapering feet. Circa 1785.
