LATE 19TH C. MONUMENTAL MARBLE MORTAR & PESTLE
French, late 19th century or earlier. Antique monumental marble mortar and double-end wood pestle. Apparently unmarked.Approx. h. 8", w. 18" (bowl), l. 18.5" (pestle).
Condition Report: Wear commensurate with age and heavy use. Rust color to side of marble and residue to inner rim, inactive wormholes, cracking to wood, green color to one end and some loss to wood.
