LATE ROMAN JASPER INTAGLIO WITH MONOGRAM IN SILVER RING

Ca. AD 400 - 600. A jasper intaglio engraved with a linear monogram composed of intersecting letters within the oval field. The intaglio is set in a possibly later silver ring with a tapering, flat-section hoop and an oval bezel.
