LATUADA, Serviliano (1704-1764) - Descrizione di Milano ornata con molti disegni in rame delle fabbriche più cospicue, che si trovano in questa metropoli. Milan: Giuseppe Cairoli, 1737-38. An important work on the history of Milan and its monuments. 5 volumes, 8vo (160 x 112mm). Half-titles present in some volumes (as per the SBN collation), engraved frontispiece, woodcut vignette on titles, 45 (sometimes copies have 46) engraved and folding plates designed by Seiller to which a folded table is added in vol. IV entitled "veri scritti nel pallio posteriore dell'altare di Santo Ambrosio", vol. II with pp. 217* and 218*, vol. III with 134* and 134**, vol. IV with 426**, ***, **** and ***** (lacking the large topographical plan, vol. I without the instruction to the bookbinders, vol. III and IV without blanks, some sporadic slight browning and staining, some tears repaired or reinforced in a few tables). 19th-century half cloth over marbled paper plates (slight wear).
