4to, first edition, LIMITED ISSUE, ONE OF 24 SPECIALLY MARKED COPIES FOR THE AUTHORS, printed on Barcham Green "Medway" paper, of which THIS IS COPY NO.9 OF 12 PRINTED FOR HART, SIGNED BY BOTH AUTHORS (out of a total edition of 128), additionally inscribed by Hart on the colophon ("It has been given by him, as a token of long and intimate friendship, to J.J. Stone BH Liddell Hart"), inscribed on front free endpaper by Jessica Liddell Hart ("To Victor Pater | with all good wishes | from Jessica Liddell Hart..."), original half tan cloth gilt with mottled boards, top edge gilt, the others uncut, bound by Sangorski and Sutcliffe, remains of jacket, acetate, slipcase
This work includes reprints of speeches given by Hart and Storrs at Foyle’s literary lunch held at Grosvenor House on 18 June 1935 commemorating Lawrence (he had died on 19 May). Hart’s speech is entitled ''Lawrence. 'The Artist in War and Letters'''; Storrs’s was ''Lawrence. 'Himself.'"
