LE BISON SOAP - c. 1920
LE BISON SOAP - c. 1920
Original lithographed and embossed advertising sheet metal.
35 x 25 cm. “G. De Andreis & Cie - Marseille”
Superb condition—
apparently never having been displayed.
It retains its original luster and perfectly preserved colors, notably the vivid reds, which remain remarkably fresh.
This choice of imagery reflects the interwar period’s fascination with American exoticism, while using the bison as a powerful marketing metaphor for strength and efficiency.
