CIRCA 1780 AND LATER, NO. 6958

• Movement: gilded full plate, cylinder escapement, striking on a bell
• Dial: eccentric white enamel, Arabic numerals, jacquemarts holding hammers for striking, automaton devil appearing from the flames in the furnace above the dial
• Case: later silver, button to the pendant for trip repeat, gilt metal cuvette signed Le Roi & Fils, No. 6958

Condition Report:
Movement: not running, fully wound and balance not rotating. Repeat mechanism not functioning.
Dial: fine cracks to the enamel on the plate behind the dial. No visible cracks to the enamel dial. Jacquemarts figures not working.
Case: later unmarked, heavily tarnished, gold hinge and band. Glass loose.
