• Movement: three-quarter plate movement, lever escapement, bi-metallic compensation balance, diamond end-stone, levers under the band for grande and petite sonnerie, two polished hammers striking on coiled gongs, signed and numbered Le Roy & Son, No. 2395, to the Queen, 57 New Bond Street, London
• Dial: white enamel, Roman numerals with five-minute divisions
• Case: 18ct gold case with plain polished covers and engraved coat-of-arms for Sir David Salomons, repeat slide and hand-setting button to the band, cuvette and cover with maker's mark JW and London hallmarks for 1891

Condition Report:
Movement: The watch ticks when wound at the time of cataloguing but does not repeat when the watch slide is activated
Dial: is good order with no visible cracks or damage
Case: The case cover of this watch would have originally been solid, i.e. a hunting cased cover and this has been cut out to form a bezel to accommodate a glass. The dial was most likely changed at the time of this conversion. light general surface scratches, coat-of-arms engraved on the reverse
