Printed broadsheet by leading Hungarian Rabbis attacking the statutes approved by the Hungarian Jewish Congress and calling for a meeting to be held in Budapest 4th Iyar 5629 (1869) to discuss the threat to orthodox Jewish life. The call is signed by Hungary’s great contemporary rabbinical leaders, including: the Kesav Sofer, the Yetev Lev, Rabbi Avraham Schag of Kobersdorf, Rabbi Yirmiya Low of Ujhely, Rabbi Menachem Ash of Ungvar, the Maharam Schick, the Menuchas Asher, Rabbi Yoel Ungar of Paks and Rabbi Menachem Katz – Prostitz of Tzehlem.

Rabbi Ahron David Deutsch (c. 1812-1878), a disciple of Rabbi Leib Glogau in Prague and of the Chasam Sofer – to whom he was especially close. Rabbi of Shebesh (1846), and Fehergyarmat (1851). Author of Goren David.
