The set will be accompanied by an email sent by Lego Customer Service which certifies the correct type of packaging and includes it among the first releases of the set put on sale (1978)
\r
I report partial contents of the above-mentioned email:
". . we can provide insight of variations of the Yellow Castle (375-2) set and production changes over the course of the sets lifespan! The 1978 Castle (375) much like Town Square (1589) were produced during an age of transition for LEGO® with packaging. Full '"roll out' of packaged elements wasn't until 1981, so many pre-existing sets to this year did in fact come with lose elements in their respective trays in combination with packaged/bagged elements! LEGO® started with packaging smaller elements in bags for production and quality accountability, so those parts wouldn't get lost in transit to the consumer. Larger elements were left out as they were deemed reasonable size to visually find if they go astray in their packaging or even while building. Larger elements were later decided to also be packaged in this way because they would commonly puncture the exterior box while in transit and this packaging provided an extra protective layer to both the element and the box to ensure our quality of our products.
\r
Presumably because of this transition in 1981 the Castle (375/6075) in the US most likely will have all bagged elements compared to the European and Australian version of earlier years. Due to carry over in production even some 1981 sets would still have duel packaging as well! There are also notable differences in box design and sticker colors (US is lighter than EU) that vary depending on country and production year as well for the Castle (375) set. Hopefully this information helps! "
