CONDITION
Observed in frame, the work is in overall good condition. Canvas slightly uneven, with a small patch to the upper right verso. Overall surface dirt. Fine, stable and age-appropriate hairline craquelure throughout. Inspection under UV light shows limited retouching to the woman’s cheekbone, top of the forehead, an area just to her left in the sky, and very small scattered areas in the perimeter.
Damage to the frame in the upper right.
