Condition
Examination under Ultra-Violet light reveals no apparent inpainting or retouching, with the reflective varnish obscuring a clear reading.There is some frame rubbing and slight wear, with several pinholes, to all four edges. The varnish has an uneven and mottled appearance in some areas, including to the left margin. A few surface scuffs are present, predominantly to the lower centre margin, with one or two tiny discreet possible losses in places. Some mild surface dirt is visible in places, with a few small scattered accretions and spots of staining.In our opinion, the work is in overall good condition.
