This model is instantly recognizable by its specialized factory grip configuration, which features distinct texturing on the frame to maximize shooter stability. On the front strap, the pistol features fine 30 lines-per-inch (LPI) checkering. This dense pattern provides a secure, slip-resistant surface for the fingers without causing discomfort during extended shooting sessions. In contrast, the flat mainspring housing on the back strap is cut with a coarser 20 LPI checkering.
