This work is one from a series of four views of Marie the Perry family housekeeper in front of the window at Perry's Hancock New Hampshire home with Mount Monadnock visible in the background. Another painting in the series Marie at the Window Autumn was featured in the 1969Ð70 show Lilla Cabot Perry: A Retrospective Exhibition at The Currier Gallery of Art (Manchester New Hampshire) Hirschl & Adler Galleries (New York) and the New Jersey State Museum (Trenton New Jersey).
