林子平 书法行书 LIM TZE PENG CHINESE CALLIGRAPHY RUNNING SCRIPT

A ink on paper Chinese calligraphy in running script by Lim Tze Peng, his rare earlier calligraphy in traditional Chinese script before his stylistic breakthrough from 2005 with muddled Chinese script. The calligraphy is based on a poem of Zhao Mengfu, Yuan dynasty poet, painter and leading calligrapher, the poem describes Chinese painting being akin to that of Chinese calligraphic strokes, as both are from same origin.
