16 x 11 in. polished cotton flag banner in red, white, and blue, with field printed in reverse, canton comprised of 33 stars arranged in 5-pointed star pattern (brittleness to flag, toning, and staining, with slight margin loss, partial tears repaired with adhesive on reverse side of flag, top edge glued to mount for display). Legend printed in black: "Lincoln and Hamlin." Provenance: Cowan's Auctions, Americana and Decorative Arts, 12-13 November 2003, Lot 92.
