Archive pertaining to Gertrude Gloor, nurse for a year to the Lindbergh's three youngest children. The lot consists of a copy of Anne Morrow Lindbergh, North to the Orient, later printing, inscribed to Ms. Gloor by Anne Morrow and Charles A. Lindbergh, Christmas, 1946. Text block separated from binding; in lightly worn jacket; Typed letter of recommendation for Gertrude Gloor, signed in ink by Charles A. Lindbergh, dated September 9, 1947; Autograph letter signed by Anne Morrow Lindbergh expressing appreciation for Gloor's efforts on the children's behalf; Postcard with lengthy pencilled note signed from Anne Morrow Lindbergh (from Paris) to her daughter Anne, with a small card with a brief note to her son Reeve, both housed in the original mailing envelope; a postcard and two greeting cards to Gloor from Anne Morrow Lindbergh; lock of Reeve Lindbergh's hair; and an unrelated letter to Gloor from the poet Edwin Markham, expressing cordial sentiments (with a copy of his Song of the Shepherds, inscribed by Markham's wife, Pauline). The letters above generally in fine condition, usual folds etc..

An interesting and touching group of letters to a well-loved figure in the Lindbergh family orbit.
