A masterful depiction of a “Thilkotina” ancestral effigy—a cult object of the lineage representing a female figure standing on long legs, with her arms pressed against her sides and her hands resting on her thighs. The powerful neck is crowned by an oval head, with a face constructed from highly controlled geometric forms. First third of the 20th century. H. 72 cm. Minor damage and losses.
