Red chalk (recto) and pen and brown ink (verso);
bears attribution and numbering in pen and brown ink, recto: Cigoli (lower right), 5 (within a box, upper left) and 12 (upper right) and also bears an inscription, verso: Gio Simonetti (?) and numbering in black chalk: 252
427 by 272 mm; 16¾ by 10¾ in

Condition Report:
Window mounted. There are a numbers of tears and losses as well as areas that have been made up along the left margin. Light staining and light scattered foxing throughout the sheet. The pen and ink on the verso is showing through to the recto. Despite the condition issues the red chalk and pen and ink remain strong and vibrant.
Sold in a simple gold frame.
