The legendary Longines Calibre 13.33 movement is a masterclass in chronograph design, it was first developed in 1913 and was the first ever chronograph designed for a wristwatch. Featuring a crown that serves as a pusher for the chronograph as well as winding the watch, the calibre was a significant breakthrough in the miniaturizing of mechanical wonders and made at a time when many of the parts for complicated watches were hand finished, the movements were exquisite.

The 13.33 was primarily cased in gold and matched with enamel dials. There were several variations of dial offered, featuring tachymeters, pulsometric scales and telemeters. The present example is a fine example of Tachymeter and Telemeter.
