LORD ELGIN - a gold filled wrist watch, 24mm.

LORD ELGIN - a wrist watch. Gold filled case with engraved case back. Case width 24mm. Numbered S452643. Signed manual wind movement. Silvered dial. Fitted to an unsigned black lizard strap with gold plated pin buckle.

Condition Report:
- Movement is currently functioning.

- Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.

- Dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing, some lifting of the laminate. Someone has obviously attempted to scratch out the "Lord Elgin" from the dial.

- Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing.

- Glass has noticeable scuffs and multiple scratches.

- Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Heavy scratches and personal engraving to the case back.

- Crown has scratches and marks.

- Strap shows wear with visible marks, creasing and discolouration.

- Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.

This lot does not come with box or papers.

Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
