Note: an extremely rare appearance at auction (anywhere) for the work of the celebrated Glasgow artist Cecilia Cardiff. Unquestionably an established but still rising star of the Scottish art scene. In the September 2021 edition "The Artist" (magazine) featured a major four page interview with Cecilia Cardiff discussing the success of her "Cafe Culture" series of paintings, of which "Lost in Thought" is one.
