LOT OF 2: POPEYE AND WIMPY CELLULOID WIND-UP CHARACTER

Includes Wimpy, marked "Made in Occupied Japan" and marketed as "Jolly Man", with cane in right hand. Bright colorful litho shows Wimpy in suit, tie and top hat. Second is a very scarce Popeye, stamped "Made in Japan" on back and partial import sticker on back of right leg. Has attached pipe and original box marked "Popeye", "King Features Syndicate 1949" and then marked "Pixytoy" on one side, with nice likeness of Popeye standing, smoking his pipe. CONDITION: Wimpy has no cracks, dents or damage. Popeye has one small dent in right chin and associated box has one small piece missing from bottom of box, one outer flap missing and one inner flap detached, but present.
