Lot contains: (A) US dagger with a 9" double-etched blade marked "LT E.J.B., 1861, VA" with dark patina over 85%. Large silver "S" shaped cross guard with pommel cap missing with a crack running the entire length of the grip. CONDITION: Good to very good. (B) Spanish or French 18th Century naval dirk with a 10" steel blade with scattered marks and light freckling throughout. Steel fittings with etching and wood panel grips are very good. Brown leather scabbard with silver etched fittings is very good. CONDITION: Very good overall. NOTE: From the Evan and Gary Lattimer collection. Consignor has provided photocopies of these dirks being featured in a book.
