Lot contains an Imperial German World War I cased 1914 1st class Iron Cross marked "K.A.G." and engraved on the reverse is "18.8.1918", or August 18, 1918. That date is also written on the back of the case, as well as "EKI", and "Meines Vaters" or "My Father's". Lot also contains a cased 1914 EKII marked "K.A.G" on the ring, and its ribbon under the cross holder. Both cases have a 1914 EK embossed on the top. Also included is a 1914 EKII in a case marked "Spink & Son Ltd, St James, London". Cross has an illegible marking on its ring. Inside the case is a folded note stating "German Iron Cross", an illegible name, "Westhoek Ridge, a location in France, and the date "5th August 1917". CONDITION: Overall very good. WEZ
