Lot contains: (A) Saxon M1889 Infantry officer sword with a 29" nickel plated blade retaining 60-65% of its finish and marked "Eisenhauer Carantirt" with a Saxon Royal cypher with freckling over 30-35%. Brass fittings have heavy patina and wire-wrapped shark skin grip is in good condition. Steel scabbard retains less than 10% of its black painted finish with heavy freckling over the remainder. CONDITION: Fair to good. (B) Hessian Court Official sword with a 32" double-etched blade with heavy scattered marks, freckling, and 55-60% of its nickel finish remaining. Brass fittings have heavy patina, and wire wrapped shark skin grip is in good condition. Leather scabbard retains less than 10% of it black finish and brass fittings have heavy patina. CONDITION: Good. (C) Bavarian heavy cavalry sword with a 32" unmarked nickel plated blade retaining more than 90% of it finish with light scattered marks and freckling. Nickel-plated steel fittings retain 60-65% of their finish, and the black trylon grip is 75% remaining. Black painted steel scabbard retains 55-60% of its finish with freckling. CONDITION: Very good. (D) Prussian Fusilier sword with a 33" double-etched blade "W.K. & C." marked blade retaining 85-90% is it finish, with freckling and scattered marks. Brass fittings have heavy patina and wire wrapped shark skin grip is very good. Nickel plated scabbard retains more than 90% of its finish with freckling and scattered marks. CONDITION: Excellent.
