LOT OF JAPANESE ORDER OF THE RISING SUN MEDALS.

Lot consists of 20 pieces including: 6 Orders of the Rising Sun 8th Class (5 cased with ribbons, 1 uncased missing ribbon), 10 Orders of the Rising Sun 7th Class (7 cased, 3 uncased), 1 Order of the Rising Sun 6th Class with silver rays, 1 Order of the Rising Sun 5th Class with silver and faint gold rays (missing ribbon), and 1 Order of the Rising Sun, 4th Class with Gold Rays. Nice mixture of lacquered and plastic cases. There is also a silvered sake cup with paulownia leaves at center. All medals exhibit varying degrees of patina with nice enamel. Some ribbons exhibit soiling. Cases remain intact with handling wear. CONDITION: Good-very good.
