**LOT WITHDRAWN**

A Charles II walnut and olivewood oyster veneered cabinet on stand, circa 1680, in manner of Thomas Pistor, the moulded pediment above a pair of hinged doors opening to an arrangement of nine drawers, centred by a small cupboard door, opening to reveal three small drawers, the moulded upper edge of the stand incorporating a leather inset slide, above a long drawer and wrythen turned legs with shaped peripheral stretchers, on turned bun feet, 157cm high, 117cm wide, 52cm deep

Provenance: Waystrode Manor, Kent

Condition Report:
Marks, scratches and abrasions comensurate with age and use Old chips and splits, some losses and old repairs Cleaned and repolished. Much of the exterior has been varnished. Filler has been used in areas to disguise old splits and losses. The locks and door catches of the large pair of doors is likely original or just out of period. The escutcheons and handles are all replacements all in period taste (with possible exception of handles to drawer of the stand) Elements of the stand section re-constructed from period and later elements (as is most often the case) The leather inset is later. The rear panels appear original as do all drawer linings to the cabinet section. Evidence of old worm. Some old worm damage has caused minor fragmentary loss.
