Condition
The canvas is unlined. Examination under Ultra-Violet light reveals several spots of retouching, mainly to the purple element left of centre. Frame rubbing to the outer edges. The canvas is slightly pulling at all four corners. Craquelure is present in a few places, mainly to the centre left, with several associated scattered paint losses, predominantly to the thicker impasto to the centre and the right margin. Mild surface dirt is apparent. In our opinion, the work is in overall good condition.
