Continental, likely Italian. Antique Louis XV style curved corner sofa with gilt shell decoration and natural fiber stuffing. Apparently unmarked.Approx. h. 48.5, w. 78.5", d. 27.375".
Condition Report: Wear commensurate with age and use. Structurally sound. Scattered gilt loss, scattered cracks to frame, inactive prior worming, several areas of loss to wood on crest rail - mostly shell / bow form and foliate area. No apparent odor. Minor scuffing / scratches to feet.
