[ translate ]

Louis XV style coffee table, 20th c., oval onyx top, gilt metal frame, on cabriole legs, approx 18"h, 39"w, 22.5"d
Condition Report: 04.05.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 2381: The onyx top is removable and is not fastened to the metal frame, I note that the table is presently intact and structurally sturdy, there is patination/ oxidation of the gilt metal, as well as light pitting and a couple minute nicks to the edges of legs commensurate with use, the onyx is coated in a sealant that has a central area of spotting, and a split extending from one end (does not appear to be a fracture to the onyx, only the sealant), the sealant is slightly yellowed along the sides and there are areas of peeling, some areas along the edge are rough and do not retain sealant, almost feeling like they were sanded, and there is a minor chip to the beveled edge of onyx, the stone displays inherent natural inclusions and fissures, and the gilt is overall well-retainedDetailed condition reports are not included in this catalog. For additional information, including condition reports, please utilize the ASK A QUESTION tab found in each lot. All lots are sold as is and where is.
