LUFTWAFFE DAGGER, FIRST MODEL WITH HANGER
First Model Luftwaffe dagger, 12 in. blade and 18 in. overall, in good condition. A very decent dagger, with some flaws. Pommel nut and crossguard have lost much of their finish, especially the gold plating to the swastikas on either side. The leather covering to the grip has some typical chipping to the leather, but the wire wrapping remains in place and quite taut. The blade is in very good condition with minimal corrosion, not maker marked. The scabbard is covered in deep blue leather, scuffed and chipped in places as is usually the case, with fittings tarnished but otherwise fine. Fitted with a hanger chain, the clip stamped 'Ges. Gesch. oLc'. Overall good condition.
