VERY RARE LUNAR AND MARTIAN METEORITES!

Lunar achondrite meteorites NWA 13739.
Achondrite meteorites March Agmala 001.

History :
Discovery in 2020 in Morocco in the Témara region.

Lunar meteorites: Meteorites are irregular in shape with numerous grayish fragments without fusion crust. It is a polymict breccia composed mainly of feldspathic and molten clasts as well as mineral fragments consolidated by an abundant finely recrystallized feldspathic matrix. The dominant minerals are olivine, augite, pigeonite, and calcic plagiocase. The minor phases are silica, ilmenite and Fe. S.

Petrography:
Description and classification A. LOVE. APP
(METEORITICAL BULLETIN ENTRY OF NORTHWEST AFRICA 15018)

They weigh 0. 6 and 0. 61 grams and measure approximately 10 x 10 x 10 mm.

Martians: Amgala 001, a precious Martian meteorite, intrigues scientists around the world. Its name, inspired by the Moroccan desert where it was discovered, evokes the mysteries and grandeur of space. This rare specimen, from the Red Planet, traveled for millions of years before crossing the Earth's atmosphere and crashing into our planet. Its fascinating appearance reveals a textured surface, marked by the rigors of the cosmos. Scientists are carefully studying its composition, which contains crucial clues about the geological history of Mars. Unique minerals, rare isotopes and potential microfossils are all pieces of the cosmic puzzle that Amgala 001 can provide.

Every square centimeter of this meteorite conceals secrets, traces of geological and meteoritic processes that occurred on Mars billions of years ago. Spectroscopic and microscopic analyzes reveal the presence of minerals such as olivine, pyroxene and feldspar, characteristic of Martian rocks. Inclusions rich in volatile elements like water and carbon are also attracting researchers' attention, fueling speculation about the possibility of past life on the Red Planet.

Amgala 001 is much more than just a rock from space. It embodies the link between Earth and Mars, providing a fascinating insight into our solar system. Its in-depth study opens doors to understanding the geological and climatic processes that have shaped the Martian surface, as well as to the search for answers about the past and present habitability of this neighboring planet.

In addition to its scientific importance, Amgala 001 arouses the admiration of the general public. Exhibited in museums and science centers around the world, it encourages visitors to contemplate the immensity of the universe and to question our place in it. Its tangible presence reminds us that even the most distant objects can have an impact on our own existence, thus nourishing our curiosity and our imagination.

They weigh 0. 38 and 0. 33 grams.

The display stand is included.

They each have their own certificate of authenticity.

Magnificent extraterrestrial objects that traveled through the cosmos before landing in Morocco and perhaps ending up in the palm of your hand. Specimens as rare as they are exceptional.
