[ translate ]

LYNN CHADWICK, R.A.
1914-2003
ROTUND FIGURE

signed and dated 66; also dated August 66 on the reverse
ink on paper
50.5 by 41cm.; 20 by 16in.

Condition Report:
The sheet is secured to the mount with two adhesive tabs in the upper corners. Each edge of the sheet is backed with supportive strip of paper, approximately 1cm. wide. There are a number of very tiny creases at one or two points along the extreme edges and some further cockling at the extreme edges, most probably due to the process by which these strips were applied. There are one or two tiny nicks to the extreme edges, not visible in the present mount. There are some very fine creases and cockles to the sheet in places, in some instances this is in keeping with the Artist's working methods. There is some time staining to the sheet, in line with the present mount. There is some evidence of studio matter, and some light surface dirt. This excepting the work appears to be in good overall condition.

The sheet is window mounted and held behind glass in a simple wooden frame.
