LYON—A “à la cardinal” plate, hallmarks: 1) FIN/ETAIN/A/LANTI/MOINE (rare), 2) FIN/sheaf and crescent/DE(NIS AR)CHIMBAUD, master in 1641, 3) on the rim, a heart framed by palm leaves, somewhat illegible. Mid-17th century. Traces of stripping. Included is a small tablecloth doily with a curvilinear border, 18th century.
