B&W, Birdseye view over the entire camp. 5) 6x Bald Mountain Gold and Silver Mining Company, La Porte, 18--, incorporated Apr 1869, unissued, selling a total of 40 shares at $1000 each. Romantic central vignette of worker standing on side of the mountain and looking towards the camp. Black border and print by Spaulding & Barto, Printers, SF. 6) Receipt page from La Porte, for dues payed by Brothers (no indication of the fraternity), dated Mar 12, 1881. Bald Mountain was located in Sierra County, North of Forest City. The deposits were apparently discovered during the Gold Lake hunt. $3.1 million were taken out of Bald Mountain, between $1/2 and $1 million out of the Bald Mountain extension.
