Labelled Dominikus Kasper (Repair) - - Violin - Germany
Beautiful, intact 4/4 violin, built in southern Germany, probably Mittenwald. Inside the violin is a label from 1870 by Dominicus Kasper from Wangen (Allgau) which shows that the violin was repaired at that time. The violin is beautifully finished, as can be seen from the inlay and original lacquer. The violin has a finely grained 1-piece back. Furthermore, the violin has a warm sound. The sizes are:
