Labelled Pollastri (copy attributed to Mario Gadda) - Violin - Italy - 1980
Concert performer of the RAI Orchestra of Rome is selling a very fine Italian violin made by Mario Gadda in 1980, copy of Augusto Pollastri, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity by Giovanni Antonioni, expert in antique instruments at the Court of Rome. The instrument has a label inside that reads “Augustus Pollastri Raphaelis Fiorini Alumnus Fecit Bononiae anno 1926”. There are also all the fire marks, one inside and one near the button. Ready to be played, intact instrument, it does not show cracks or the slightest imperfection. Dimensions: 35. 6. Photo of the certificate attached.
