Labradorite Sphere Madagascar This massive decorative sphere has been hewn out of an even larger sample of prized Labradorite. This attractive mineral displays a unique habit known as labradorescence, which shows as a broad flash across the stone's surface. This sphere lights up with strong flashes of blue, green, and yellow across the sphere's polished surfaces. There are a few patches of fill, which is common for the variety to help create an even and high polish. This fine offering makes for one attractive display piece. Immense in size, this giant mineral ball measures 7.5 inches (19 cm) in diameter and weighs a stout 23 pounds (10.5 kilograms).
