Of fluted design with a hinged handle to one end, the thumbpiece collet-set with a cabochon sapphire, opening to reveal a mirror, Italian assay mark gold and maker's mark, gross weight approximately 398 grams.

Condition Report:
Stamped with 750 for 18 carat gold and Italian maker's mark. Sapphire weighing approximately 2.00 carats, with typical inclusions, scratches, nicks and chips. Generalised surface wear and some areas of tarnish, hinge and thumbpiece in good working order, closes securely, measuring approximately 135 x 85 x 35mm (not including handle), overall in good condition. Gross weight approximately 398 grams.
