Date: 17th-18th c.
Technique: Fire gilt bronze with pplychrome painting and cold gold in the face. Base prob. originally closed.
Description: Sitting in dhyanasana on a double lotus. The two hands in teaching gesture holding the
stems of the lotus flowers at the shoulders. The one on the right shows a sword, the one
on the left probably a book, symbolising Manjushri. The kasaya robes are finished with
finely engraved borders.
Measurement: Weight 1211g, height 14.8cm.
