Meanwhile, Luc Donckerwolcke, who was working for Audi at the time, was commissioned to restyle the old Diablo resulting in the Diablo 6. 0 VT, a car that already bore many similarities to the Murciélago. However, the combination Donckerwolke - Bertone did not go very smoothly and it was finally decided that Donckerwolke himself would take care of the entire design of the new car.
