Amazing bronze Japanese lamp with patina, medal representing a dragon along the whole surface. The vase is signed: Signature: 'Toun chū' 渡 雲 鋳 (issued by Toun) + kakihan (last character) . Artist: Kimura Toun. The artist Kimura Toun 渡 雲, also known as Murata Seimin II, studied with Murata Seimin I. His work pieces can be found in the Mesdag Collection, in La Haya and the Musée Cernuschi in Paris. Stands out for its high grade in detail and for its smelting quality. The upper side of the lamp has typical Japanese motifs like its legs. The lamp screen comes from a specialized house from Germany, with golden metallic inside and textile black outside.
