Condition Report:
Good overall condition. The metal parts presents with tiny scratches mainly located on the side edges. Slight wear of the gilding. There is one white glue residue on the top of the sphere due to an older restauration. Tiny oxidation mark on the metal plate under the base. All consistent with age and use. The lamp was probably restored on the upper part near the lamp socket. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and suggests having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
