Lamperti - Floor lamp

[ translate ]

Huge snake-shaped floor vintage lamp made by Lamperti Design, Robbiate (Como) , Italy, 1970. Mid-century modern Italian vintage design. Original factory label on the lamp holder (see pictures) . Dimensions: height c. 190 cm, base diameter c. 60 cm. ; the metal shade diameter is 15 cm. The flexible metal tube is covered with plastic and can be rotated in any direction, and the shade, too, can be rotated. Lamperti was founded in Robbiate (Como) . In the 70s, Lamperti became one of the most important companies of the Italian design movement under the leadership of designers and architects such as Ferrarin and Salvioli. The critical point of this lamp's design is "lack," which has a positive meaning here. The absence of a base simplified the design and introduced a creative component, a legacy for everyone interacting with this object. The lamp is very decorative, and the upper part is adjustable in many different positions: a lamp with unlimited position flexibility. The lamp dates from the early years of production. It's preserved in its original condition and has a patina on it. The lamp is in working condition. Lights traces of wear commensurate with age. A stylish and timeless design and is therefore suited for every contemporary interior. Due to size, national and international shipping can be arranged after the sale; for quotations, contact via message.
