Lancia - Augusta - 1936

Lancia Augusta from 1936, ASI, unified luxury saloon, pre-war right-hand drive car, manufactured from 1933 to 1936. It is estimated that 14,104 units were built; this car replaced the Lambda and the Aprilia. Original and in excellent condition both in terms of body and engine; in fact, it starts at the first stroke. It has a V petrol engine type 88, 1195. 58 cc with 35 hp. Serviced in June 2021. Its comfortable and spacious interior can accommodate 4 adults, the headliner and panels are original and only show a few specks due to the ageing, original Italian number plates with the fasces coat of arms, original documents with certificate of registration and certificate of historical importance. No signs of corrosion or rust; indeed, the photos were taken recently and show slight marks and defects. Two-tone shiny blue body with black mudguards and handcrafted ivory trim, certainly restored more than 20 years ago (I do not have any documents dating back to the restoration) ; 4 doors without a central column to get in and out of the passenger compartment with the greatest ease; chrome-plated and polished steel bumpers, also of blue colour with ivory trim; Michelin Superconfort tyres with 90% tread left; with double spare wheel and used tyres; complete and functional instrumentation inside and out, on the inner dashboard there are the various gauges of speed, oil pressure and rev counter, all illuminated; even the manual wind-up clock is in working order; headlights, brake light, rear stop lights, turn signals wand, all in working order; 6 volts battery included and recently changed; 4-speed + reverse gearbox with smooth engagement, only the second gear sounds a little noisier but nothing to worry about; drum brakes and parking brake in fair condition, like almost all pre-war cars; black rubber floor, highly polished chrome-plated exterior handles. It can be transported both in Italy and abroad at buyer’s expense.
