Lancia Flaminia Coupe - 1960 - V6 - 2. 5 Liters.

If the Lancia Flaminia was born as a large luxury sedan in
imposing dimensions. Its engine comes from the 2500cc V6 of the Aurelia
which it replaces. Very well finished, technically efficient, the Flaminia is
what is commonly called a “Grand Car”. Lancia dedicates
a shortened Flaminia platform for bodybuilders, available
in two wheelbases: 2. 52m for the two seats and 2. 75m for the
4/5 seats. Zagato is responsible for producing the “Sport” version.
with an aerodynamic body. Touring takes care of the
“GT” Grand Touring version, a splendid coupe which is also available
in a convertible version and later a 2+2 will be extrapolated. THE
master Pininfarina took charge, from 1959, of the Coupé, a luxurious
two doors and 4/5 seats, with exemplary finish. The first version
develops 119hp (3201 units) and is replaced in 1962 by the 3B,
128hp version with triple body carburetor (950 units) . The last
version will adopt the 2800cc and 140hp engine (1085 units) . THE
model presented is a Pininfarina coupe sold at the time more expensive than
the sedan, but whose commercial success will be greater. Exclusive coupe,
this Flaminia is today a very rare car, the two versions
places having been better preserved and better saved.

History:
This Lancia Flaminia was produced in 1960, and registered in Italy the same year.
Four owners succeeded one another in Italy until 2018, each having kept this Flaminia for many years. The first owner: Biavati Pietro kept it from 1960 to 1964, the second: Pignatti Francesco, from 1964 to 1969, the third Verrati Renato, from 1969 to 1982, the fourth: Mazzotti Elisabetta, from 1982 to 2018.
The current owner purchased it in 2018 and has kept it in his private collection for the past 6 years.

The vehicle is sold with its original and official AUTOVETTURA dating from 1964

Vehicle condition:
This Flaminia has undergone a significant restoration in recent years, namely:
- Engine repair
- Change of front brake blocks and various hoses.
- New paint
- Red leather upholstery and trim on new doors
- New carpet on the floor

Bodywork:
The chassis and bodywork are in good condition. During the restoration about 10 years ago of the body and chassis, repairs were made, chassis protection was installed. The paint is very shiny and beautiful. Note some gravel impacts, some touch-ups on scratches. the chrome is in good condition but lacks shine.

Interior:
The red leather on the seats, the doors, the red carpet are in very good condition. The different controls: indicators, horns, headlights, codes, meter lights, windshield wipers, work. The original radio is present but is not electrically connected.

Mechanical :
The Flaminia starts with its key, all gears shift without problem.
The handbrake works perfectly.
The vehicle has been in a private collection for the last 6 years, and driven very little, a few hundred meters each year.
For collection use, the vehicle can remain like this. If the buyer's wish is to use the vehicle regularly on public roads, it will be necessary to change the tires, perform an oil change and bleed the brake fluid.
