This Goodwood green series 2A was imported from South Africa 22 years ago by the current owner and subsequently restored in 2018 while retaining its characteristic Safari version, patina and details. With powerful and perfectly running 2. 25 petrol engine and 4 x 4 drive.

This Landrover series 2A 109 RHD, delivered in Pretoria in 1964, is truly a beauty! 5 door version with unique tropical roof, Safari roof rack and game hatch, 10 seats and in very good condition is an asset for the enthusiast.
Exterior:
Completely body off restored! Between 2014 and 2019, the entire chassis was sanded, coated and rebuilt with new bolts, nuts and washers. The body and panels are painted in an original LANDROVER color Goodwood green with some patina, imperfections and dents retained. The paintwork is in good condition without rust and has been reapplied both inside and out (2K paint) . It has some small dents and imperfections, but this is a conscious choice by the owner, the Series 2A has been restored to be usable again and therefore no putty or filler has been used. Chassis, Bulkhead and ABC styles are sandblasted and coated with multiple layers of epoxy primer and lacquer. All galvanized parts have been re-galvanized, including the window frame and loose panels.
Almost all bolts, nuts and washers were replaced by stainless steel during the restoration, which were neatly mounted with copper grease.
