Land Rover - 88 Series 3 - 1980

Land Rover 88 series 3 from 1981, delivered new in Italy and has had a quiet life in the Veneto and Piedmont area, used for traveling in the hills and valleys of the Langhe. The last owner, as shown by the historical documents, was Mr. Mario Fenoglio from Turin, born in 1935 who bought this Land Rover in 1991 and kept it until 2021, therefore for over 30 years. He was very fond of to this vehicle, which was always kept in the garage and which had proved to be reliable and ready for use. A few years ago it had a complete restoration which is still in excellent condition: the body was completely repainted in the original color and kept all its factory sheet metal with the original round weld spots still in place. The mechanics for the non-use of the last few years had a complete service: revision of the brakes, new tires, a complete service, a new complete exhaust, new bumper and an electric control. In addition, this Land Rover has all the options available at the time: - "Safari" double sunroof to ventilate the passenger compartment during the warm months through the vents on the ceiling; - "Fairey" mechanical overdrive which allows you to lengthen the gear ratios of the gearbox to obtain a 5th gear; - Original luggage rack of the time; - Wheel holder on the front hood; Furthermore, this Land Rover is registered with the ASI Automoto.
