1810-1883 Painter from the late Edo period to the Meiji period.
Born in Bunka 7th year. His birthplace was the wealthy Suzuki family in Atsuta, Owari (Aichi Prefecture) . He studied under Keibun Matsumura of the Shijo school in Kyoto. He returned to his homeland in 1996 and dedicated a picture of the Uji River Senden to Atsuta Shrine. Exhibited at the National Industrial Exhibition in 1899. Passed away on December 16, 1899. He is 74 years old. The character (Azana) is Nagatora. His common name is Tazaemon. His name is Jialing.
The tip of the hanging scroll is lacquered wood.
It is in very good condition with no major pain.
